How do you sell that?
First and foremost is delivering the finest
product possible and making it a pleasant
experience. Those two things matter most
to our customers. Once they have become
better acquainted with our product they
understand and appreciate the price/value
relationship.
With less men wearing neckties, does
the belt become more of a fashion
statement?
Belts have always been an easy way to
express one’s sense of style. But with the
emergence of casual dressing, it’s definitely
one of the keys to pulling an outfit together.
Your belts go way beyond the standard brown and
black colors. Has color become a big deal?
Black, brown, and cognac are always going to be classics,
everyone should have these in their wardrobe. Because of
our presence in the better golf clubs and resorts color has
always been important. These casual environments lend
themselves to more colorful sportswear. Worn correctly,
colorful belts can be interesting, fun and the perfect way to
add the finishing touch.
Aside from traditional leather, what other materials
do you use?
Up until 2023 our entire collection was comprised of the
finest leathers from around the world. However, we
recently introduced a product by the name of
Alcantara. This product has typically been
used to create beautiful interiors on luxury
yachts, and European sports cars.
It’s now finding its way to
the world of fashion
and countless other
applications. It
features a suede
finish yet is
resistant to light,
it’s washable and
is carbon neutral.
Our Alcantara belts
will be offered in
eleven beautiful
colors for 2023.
Where can your belts be found?
We believe L.E.N should be available where our customers
choose to spend their time. People are busier than ever, and
they will make their purchases around the edges of their
activities if possible. Our customers appreciate finer things,
they appreciate the best restaurants, homes, cars, clothing and
sport and this is where they spend their time. For those
reasons, we are fortunate to have L.E.N placed in the finest of
high-end golf and country clubs, resorts, and better men’s
specialty stores. Locally, L.E.N can be found in most beautiful
clubs such as Silverleaf, Estancia, Whisper Rock, DC Ranch,
Desert Mountain and Grayhawk Golf Club.
Clearly, belts are the largest part of your business but do
you also produce other products?
Agree, belts will always be a very important part of the
business, there’s a practicality as well as a fun factor when
selecting belts. The perfect way for men to express their
individuality or unique sense of style. By
demand we recently developed a
handsome collection of Alligator
accessories, ranging from bifold
wallets, organizers, card cases and
watch bands. Consistent with our
belt collection they were created for
the person who appreciates quality,
functionality, and classic styling
with a twist of fun or interest.
